Racial Traits
  • Humanoid (Reptilian), Medium
  • Natural Weapons – Slam, 1d3 primary
  • Speed – 30ft
  • Athletics, Creature Handling, Perception, Stealth, and Survival are always class skills.
  • Low-Light Vision.
  • Aspect of Nature (Ex)
The fera selects an aspect at character creation. This choice cannot be changed later, though additional aspects can be acquired through feats. He gains the passive ability from that aspect as a racial trait. In addition, the fera may “shift” into his aspect as a move action, gaining the appropriate benefits. Each shift lasts for 3 + his Con modifier (including shifting bonuses) in rounds, and can be ended early as a free action. Every round spent shifted counts as a round of flat-out action, regardless of what actions the fera actually takes, and the fera cannot shift if fatigued or exhausted.
  • Second Nature (Ex)
At third level, the fera selects a second aspect, and gains the passive ability from that aspect as an additional racial trait. He may now shift into either aspect as a swift action, but cannot shift into both at the same time.
  • Dual Shifter (Ex)
At fifth level, the fera’s shifting is now permanent until he chooses to end it. He may also shift into a second aspect while already shifted, though he can only maintain them both for 3 + his Con modifier in rounds, after which both end. Time spent shifted into a single aspect no longer automatically counts as acting flat-out, though every round spent shifted into two aspects still does. Bonuses to the same attribute from two shiftings do not stack.
